The National Weather Service says it will be “quiet” through the weekend, meaning mostly dry and warm.
Today’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies in the morning, then partly cloudy later in the day. Any afternoon precipitation will be isolated and likely south of the immediate Tampa area.
Lows will be in the high 60s to low 70s, with highs around 90.
The weather service forecast doesn’t change much through Sunday.
Looking ahead, a cold front is due through Central Florida by next Tuesday, bringing a brief shot of noticeably cooler temperatures and drier air. Strong storms may precede the front, the weather service says.
