Brian Farrell grew up participating in a variety of sports, and his extensive athletic background led him to do personal training for last three years.
Now, he is helping people get in shape and achieve their fitness goals at Burn Boot Camp’s newest location.
Recently opened in Westchase, Burn Boot Camp offers workout camps for people of all different fitness levels.
“Even though it’s in a group setting, it’s still very personalized,” said Farrell, manager and head trainer.
A member of the training staff has a “focus meeting” with each individual to help determine their goals.
“We try to help them achieve that,” Farrell said. “We help with diet and nutrition guidance and motivate them from there.”
Most camps are 45 minutes long, and are primarily for women, but there are also co-ed classes available throughout the week. Farrell points out that there aren’t any fitness machines at their facility.
“One of the slogans is ‘I don’t use machines, I am a machine,’ ” Farrell said. “We never have the exact same workout twice.”
Camps are held Monday-Friday, and every Saturday there is a free, co-ed camp that is open to the public. Free child care is available during certain camps.
Burn Boot Camp is located at 12080 Race Track Road, Unit P10.
