BurgerMonger fundraiser will help feed Seymour

CARROLLWOOD – BurgerMonger has been recognized for its hamburgers, but on Thursday, July 3, guests at its Carrollwood location, 10412 N. Dale Mabry Highway, can get dinner and a free show.

Carrollwood Players Theatre, Tampa Bay’s oldest community theater, located at 4333 Gunn Highway, is hosting a “FEED ME” Fundraiser for its limited engagement musical “Little Shop of Horrors” premiering in September.

From 7 to 10 p.m., BurgerMonger will donate a portion of each guest’s purchase to the Carrollwood Players Theatre if the guest references the “FEED ME” Fundraiser or provides a flyer distributed by the group.

At 7:30 p.m., Seymour and Audrey, played by actors Oliver Sprague and Erica Heiden, will perform the iconic song “Suddenly Seymour” from “Little Shop of Horrors.”

“There’s a lot of cost involved in producing a musical,” explained “Little Shop of Horrors” producer Frank Stinehour. “We’re hoping our community will come out to BurgerMonger to get a great meal and support our community theater. Any donation we receive from this fundraiser with BurgerMonger will help us continue our goal to bring live quality theater to Tampa Bay.”
