Suspect sought in Tampa area drug thefts from pharmacies
Hillsborough deputies are looking for a man who stole various narcotics from pharmacies in Tampa and Brandon. The locations of the robberies:
1:01 p.m. Friday: CVS Pharmacy, 11212 Dale Mabry Hwy. N., Tampa.
12:33 p.m. Tuesday: Walgreens Pharmacy, 930 Providence Road, Brandon.
12:45 p.m. Tuesday: CVS Pharmacy, 715 Brandon Blvd. W., Brandon.
In two cases, the suspect demanded narcotics at the pharmacy counter and received them. He was refused at the Walgreens, the sheriff’s office said.
He asked for "roxy, oxcodone, Hydromorphone or Alprazolam,” according to the sheriff’s office.
The suspect is described as a white man, 25 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 10 and 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray, hooded University of Florida sweatshirt, with the hood up over a blue baseball cap, aviator sunglasses, blue shorts and black tennis shoes.
