Dave Matthews Band coming to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa

Just like that, the Dave Matthews Band is returning to Tampa, and all is right with the world.

After a rare year off from touring, Dave and company are gearing up to get back on their regular summer road schedule, including a late-July stop at Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. The group will perform there on July 25.

While the band has played the venue almost every year since the shed opened, this year's show comes with a twist: A new album. The as-yet-untitled disc, DMB's ninth, will arrive this summer, and tickets purchased to the tour will include a free copy. Tickets to the Tampa show start at $45 and go on sale Feb. 2. A pre-sale is underway now for Warehouse fan club members, and another pre-sale for Citi card holders will begin Jan. 30.

While it's true the full band didn't come to Tampa this year, several of its members did. Boyd Tinsley brought his group Crystal Garden to the Attic in Ybor City in July. And in October, Carter Beauford and Jeff Coffin came to the Clearwater Jazz Holiday for an all-star tribute to the Weather Report.

But there's nothing like hearing the whole group together. This summer, fans will get it.
