The Tampa Bay area faces another warm, cloudy day today as a front settles over the region, briniging increased rain chances.
After a mild start, temperatures will reach the mid- to upper-70s under mostly cloudy skies, News Channel 8 meteorologist Julie Phillips said.
There is a 40 percent chance of scattered showers today, and lows will drop only to the low-60s.
Once the front passes on Saturday, skies will begin to clear but temperatures will reach an unseasonably high of 81 with a few showers still possible.
Cooler temperatures will return by the start of the work week.
