So many stories have begun to emerge as rescue efforts continue in the aftermath of the deadly tornado that destroyed an Oklahoma City suburb.
But few might be able to tug at the heart strings as much as a viral video showing an elderly woman's joy after she found her dog, feared dead in the rubble of her house, alive amid the ruins of her home.
Barbara Garcia was describing the horror as she and her dog, Cathy, hid in her bathroom as the devastating tornado destroyed her home.
During the television interview, though, CBS' Anna Werner noticed some movement and then saw Cathy struggling to free herself from under the debris.
A joyous Garcia cried out and, with the help of the TV crew, bent down to lift the debris and bring Cathy to safety.
“I thought God just answered one prayer, to let me be OK,” Garcia said. “He answered both of them.”
