Stalled front brings rain, then cooler temperatures to Tampa

Published:

The Tampa Bay region is in for a soggy couple of day as a stalled front pushes to the south, eventually giving way to chillier temperatures.

The front is creating a soggy morning commute, and mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers before the rain chances kick in again later this afternoon, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.

Highs will be in the mid-70s, with lows in the low-60s.

The rain will continue overnight into Tuesday as the front drifts to the south, with heavier rain possible, before skies begin to clear heading into Wednesday, when highs will only reach the low- to mid-60s.
