The area will see skies become partly cloudy overnight, offering plenty of chances to see the Super Moon, says WFLA-TV meteorologists. The moon will appear bigger and brighter since the moon is at its closest position to earth.
Sunny skies will be the rule Saturday morning, and temperatures will quickly climb into the low 90s. Expect storms to start developing in the early afternoon, meteorologists say.
The storms will generally drift toward the coast through the day. The strongest storms will occur near I-75 late in the afternoon.
