Shifting winds means a shift in weather conditions around the Tampa Bay area.
Humidity is up and a stray coastal shower is possible this morning with winds now coming off the Gulf of Mexico, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
There is a 40 percent chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms, with the rain starting along the coast early this afternoon and moving inland by tonight.
Highs today will reach the low-90s, with lows in the low- to mid-70s.
Similar conditions will remain in effect through the Labor Day weekend.
