Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move through the Tampa Bay area, starting in the morning and continuing throughout the afternoon, WFLA meteorologists said.
"There's about a 50 percent chance you'll see some of that rain in your back yard, but luckily it will move through fairly quickly," meteorologist Bryan Bennett said. "Other than that, we'll be under mostly cloudy skies."
Rain chances will increase for inland areas around 2 p.m.
The afternoon high will reach about 88 degrees.
Rain chances will decrease to about 40 percent on Sunday, and will be even lower going into next week.
