A stalled frontal boundary brought heavy rain to the Bay area Friday afternoon, says WFLA-TV meteorologist Julie Phillips.
“Scattered rain will continue through Friday evening and isolated rain can be expected overnight,” she says.
The overnight low will be near 70 degrees. It will be cloudy to start the day.
As the stalled frontal boundary finally gets a push south by an upper level trough, rain chances look to come to an end from north to south Saturday afternoon and evening. Highs on Friday will remain in the mid to upper 70s due to the overcast skies and rain expected, Phillips says.
