Clouds will build today ahead of a slow-moving cold front that will produce muggy conditions today across the Tampa Bay area, and increased rain chances on Wednesday.
Skies will be mostly cloudy with increased moisture, and widely scattered showers are possible today as the front stalls across the region, according to News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann. Highs will be above average, near 80 with southerly winds with lows in the low-60s, and rain chances will linger tonight.
However, rain chances will increase Wednesday afternoon, with temperatures dipping to highs in the low- to mid-70s and lows in the mid-50s.
Skies will clear Thursday as the front pushes through, but that same front will shift to the north, increasing rain chances again this weekend.
