More rain is in the Tampa Bay area forecast today, with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible, mainly between 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the National Weather Service said.
Otherwise, it will be hot, with lows near 80 and highs in the low 90s.
The chance for rain is at 40 percent, dropping to about 10 percent after sunset, the weather service said.
Tuesday’s forecast has less rain, but similar temperatures.
Meantime, Tropical Storm Cristobal is expected to move north, away from the Bahamas.
The National Hurricane Center expects Cristobal to become a hurricane this week as it heads away from Florida and the U.S. East Coast.
