It’s going to be a hot, humid day across the Tampa Bay area.
“There’s not going to be enough rain to keep you indoors, but the heat might keep you there,” WFLA meteorologist Bryan Bennett said.
The forecast calls for only about a 20 percent chance of rain, but afternoon highs will be around 92 degrees.
There could be some spotty storms moving through the area this afternoon, mostly around 2 p.m. That rain will be centered around Interstate 75 in Hillsborough, and will move east from there as the afternoon goes on, Bennett said.
Sunday will be slightly hotter, with about a 30 percent chance of rain, Bennett said.
