Fall is finally in the air as the first cold front of the season is bringing low humidity and pleasant conditions.
There will be a lot more sunshine today as a front, that brought rain and clouds earlier this week, has passed into the Atlantic, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
In its place is dry air from the north that has temperatures this morning as much as 9 degrees cooler than 24 hours earlier.
The result is highs at a more seasonable mid- to upper-80s and lows in the low- to mid-60s under clear skies.
These conditions will last through the weekend.
