Fall weather has finally arrived in the Tampa Bay area.
Dry air from a cold front has brought cool, crisp air with lower humidity and no chance of rain, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
After lows in the mid-60s this morning, temperatures will stay below 80 today, helped by a layer of thin clouds throughout the day and steady northerly winds with stronger gusts.
Those clouds should clear by sunset, and lows tonight will be in the upper-50s to near 60.
The area will see plenty sunshine Friday and into the weekend, with comfortable highs near 80 and lows in the mid-50s.
