Egg hunters and families got a nice Sunday morning to celebrate Easter, but they need to watch out for rain coming this week.
The area should see a high of 80 and a low of 70 today, mainly near the coast, said News Channel 8 meteorologist Megan Hatton. Any showers in Florida should stay north of the Tampa Bay area. There is only a 10 percent chance of rain Sunday night.
Hatton also warned that there will be some patchy fog for students and commuters Monday and Tuesday mornings.
The Tampa area should see a high of 68 at 9 p.m., thanks to some moisture in the air, she said.
Later Monday, the chance of rain is 30 percent, but that should be it for a few days, she said.
Another front arrives Wednesday and increases the chances for rain. Thursday there is a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms, Hatton said.
