Early sprinkles to end in time for Gasparilla invasion, parade

Early sprinkles should clear out this morning clearing the way for the annual pirate invasion and Parade of Pirates through downtown Tampa.

Revelers will be treated to some clouds and a high near 64. Tonight, there might be some more light rain early, then a low around 55.

For Sunday, the isolated sprinkles will end by 8 a.m., then the day will be windy with gusts as high as 21 mph. There will be a high near 72. Sunday night, there is a 40 percent chance of rain and a low around 55.

Rain is likely Monday with a 50 percent chance of precipitation and a high near 72. Monday night has a continued chance of rain and with a low around 48.

Tuesday and Wednesday have a 30 percent chance of showers and a high in the upper 60s. The chance of rain remains for the overnight with a low around 36.

Thursday the rain is gone and the area gets a mostly sunny day with a high near 63. But, it will be cool that night with a low around 39.

More sun on Friday with a high near 71.
