A cold front has pushed south through the Tampa Bay area, ushering in slightly cooler air and lower humidity.
Conditions will be more comfortable this week, with northerly breezes and cooler morning temperatures, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
After some lingering clouds this morning from the front, which brought rain Tuesday and spawned an afternoon tornado near MacDill Air Force Base, skies will clear and highs will reach the upper 80s with lots of sunshine.
Lows tonight will be near 80.
The comfortable conditions will last into the weekend, with highs in some areas reaching just the lower 80s and highs in the upper 60s.
