The Tampa Bay area can keep sweaters packed away for another day, before another cold front slips through the area later today and drops temperatures leading to Gasparilla weekend.
Thick patchy fog is hovering over some areas, especially inland. But once that burns off today, skies will be clear and highs will reach the low-70s today, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
Rain chances will increase this afternoon - starting from the north - once the front arrives, and temperatures will dip into the upper-30s tonight.
Highs on Wednesday will only reach the mid-50s, and afternoon temperatures will remain in the mid-60s heading into the weekend.
