The Tampa Bay area is in for a bit of a cold spell over the next couple of nights with lows Monday and Tuesday in the 40s.
The National Weather Service was calling for a low of only 43 for Monday night, with a light northeast wind of 3 to 5 mph. There are reports of a frost warning for Citrus and Hernando counties, where the forecast low is only 33.
Tuesday will be sunny with a high near 71, but the low plunges to 46 at night.
Wednesday gets warmer with a sunny day and a high near 71, and a low of 55 that night.
More warming arrives for Thursday with a high near 78 and a low of 62 at night.
Friday and Saturday the high reaches near 80 and there is a 20 percent chance of showers for Friday and Saturday.
