Unseasonably warm conditions have taken over in the Tampa Bay area as temperatures will be well above average through the weekend.
After a cool, typical start, winds from the south will help warm things up quickly today, News Channel 8 meteorologist Bryan Bennett said.
With Monday’s clouds clearing, highs today will reach the upper-70s, under mostly sunny skies and a slight chance of a spray sprinkle. Lows tonight will only drop into the low-60s.
Wednesday will be even warmer, with highs in the low-80s.
The warm conditions will last through the weekend, with possible record-highs in the low-80s and lows in the low-60s under mostly sunny skies.
