The Tampa Bay History Center will celebrate Independence Day by offering free admission to everyone, sponsored by Bank of America.

The free admission offer is good on July 4 and on that day the museum will have extended hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Regular admission is $12.95 for adults, $10.95 for seniors and $7.95 for children ages 4 - 12.

In addition to the exhibit galleries, there will also be costumed re-enactors representing several eras of American military history. Depicted will be Civil-War, Seminole War, Spanish American War and WWII-era soldiers, sailors and citizens.

Nearby is Cotanchobee Park where, after the museum closes, you can enjoy the free fireworks display in downtown Tampa beginning at 9 p.m.

The Tampa Bay History Center is at 801 Old Water St., Tampa.
