Visit Tampa Bay History Center for free on Fourth

The Tampa Bay History Center will celebrate Independence Day by offering free admission to everyone, sponsored by Bank of America.

The free admission offer is good on July 4 and on that day the museum will have extended hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Regular admission is $12.95 for adults, $10.95 for seniors and $7.95 for children ages 4 - 12.

In addition to the exhibit galleries, there will also be costumed re-enactors representing several eras of American military history. Depicted will be Civil-War, Seminole War, Spanish American War and WWII-era soldiers, sailors and citizens.


Nearby is Cotanchobee Park where, after the museum closes, you can enjoy the free fireworks display in downtown Tampa beginning at 9 p.m.

The Tampa Bay History Center is at 801 Old Water St., Tampa.
