Professional keyboard duo to perform at United Methodist church

Published:

SUN CITY CENTER - The United Methodist Church of Sun City Center, 1210 Del Webb Blvd. W., will welcome the Captivating Keyboards on July 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary.

The group is a virtuoso keyboard duo comprised of Alan Tripp and Scott Griffin, who are recent graduates of the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago where they began to perform together. The pair brings lots of fun and a bit of slapstick to their family-friendly concerts, which feature piano music and organ/piano duets.

Tripp and Griffin began playing concerts together in 2007 and were subsequently invited to perform at the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes of Chihuahua, Mexico; Bill Gaither's Fall Family Festival in Indiana; the Maranatha Bible Conference in Michigan; Word of Life campuses in New York and Florida; and the Crystal Cathedral in California.

Last March they began pursuing concerts full-time, performing as Captivating Keyboards under their new nonprofit Get Out Of Your Boat Ministries. They bless their audiences with unique musical arrangements, creatively combined into entertaining presentations.

A donation of just $5 is requested at the door.
