The playoff-bound Tampa Bay Storm dropped their seventh straight game Saturday night, falling 52-44 to the South Division champion Jacksonville Sharks in their regular-season finale.
The road loss dropped the Storm (7-11) to the No. 4 seed in the American Conference playoffs that begin next week.
The Storm will travel to Jacksonville (12-6) or Philadelphia for their first-round playoff game.
Tampa Bay was led by quarterback Shane Boyd, who threw for 315 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for two scores. Storm wide receiver Joe Hills had 11 catches for 144 yards and a TD, and set franchise single-season marks for receiving yards (1,861) and receptions (133).
