NETS 112, BULLS 103: Antoine Wright scored 14 of his career-high 21 points in the fourth quarter and overtime to lead New Jersey. Richard Jefferson added 29 points and 10 rebounds, Vince Carter had 24 points and a big steal late and Jason Kidd handed out 13 assists to lead the Nets to their 12th straight win over Chicago in New Jersey.
SPURS 104, GRIZZLIES 101: Manu Ginobili scored 30 points, including the go-ahead basket with 32 seconds left, as San Antonio beat Memphis. Ginobili, who had nine points down the stretch, added seven assists and drew a late charge from Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay to preserve the Spurs' lead. Gay's desperation shot just before the buzzer was off the mark.
PACERS 119, WIZARDS 110: Jamaal Tinsley scored 16 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and overtime as Indiana gave Coach Jim O'Brien a win in his debut. The Pacers won without forward Jermaine O'Neal, who sat out with a hyperextended left knee.
RAPTORS 106, 76ERS 97: Andrea Bargnani scored 20 points as Toronto began the defense of their Atlantic Division title.
HORNETS 104, KINGS 90: Chris Paul and the rest of the Hornets' starting five got their team's full-time return to New Orleans off to a promising start. Paul had 22 points and 12 assists, while Peja Stojakovic showed some of his All-Star form of old with 19 points to help the Hornets.
