St. Petersburg Hosting Party Today For Rays

The city of St. Petersburg will hold a celebration today in honor of the American League champion Rays.Published: October 31, 2008
The event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at North Straub Park, between Fifth and Second Avenues North along Bayshore Drive, according to the city.
Manager Joe Maddon will appear, along with Rays players, whose names have not been announced. The official program, hosted by Dick Crippen, will begin at 4:30.
