After losing by one to Ole Miss and falling to No. 12 in the AP poll, UF has won seven in a row (average winning margin: 41 points) and is now No. 2.
Up & Down
At 6-1, FSU climbed to No. 16 in the AP rankings. But two losses in four games dropped the Noles out of the Top 25. Now 8-3, FSU is No. 23.
Tebow & Co.
With 22 passing TDs and 11 rushing TDs (down from last year) Tim Tebow may not do a Heisman repeat. But the UF offense ranks third in the nation.
FSU's Answer
Countering UF's offense, the traditionally stingy FSU defense ranks No. 7 in the nation, averaging three sacks and two turnovers per game.
Recent History
Bobby Bowden once held a 17-12-1 series record against UF. A Gators win today would be five in a row and even Bowden's record at 17-17-1.
