Rays sell out Opening Day game vs. Blue Jays

For the ninth consecutive season, the Tampa Bay Rays have sold out their home opener.

The team today announced the sellout of their Opening Day game, Monday at 4:10 against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Tickets are still available for the Rays’ games Tuesday through Thursday against Toronto, and for a weekend series against Texas.

The first 20,000 fans Saturday will receive a Wil Myers Rookie of the Year commemorative bobblehead. On Sunday, children ages 14-under will receive a Desmond Jennings Baseball Buddy, can run the bases can join the DJ Kitty Kids Party in the outfield following the game.

Single-game tickets are available at the Rays’ website, all Ticketmaster outlets, the Rays Tampa Store (400 N. Tampa St.) and the Gate 1 Tropicana Field Box Office, and by calling 888-FAN-RAYS.
