Tampa Bay Rays infielder Jeff Keppinger arrived at the clubhouse wearing a walking boot before today's game with the Atlanta Braves.

There was no official status on his condition this morning.

The Rays already have nine players on the disabled list, including third baseman Evan Longoria and left fielder Desmond Jennings.

The Rays will wrap up a three-game series today against the Braves at Tropicana Field.

The Rays will go with left-handed pitcher David Price (6-2, 3.10 ERA), who could become the major's first seven-game winner this season. The Braves counter with right-hander Tim Hudson (2-1, 3.96).

The Rays (25-16) are in second place in the American League East, trailing the Baltimore Orioles by two games.

Longoria and Jennings took some batting practice this morning. Jennings (knee) is expected back May 27.A best-case scenario for Longoria (hamstring tear) is a return in June.
