Of the minor-league cities you've been to, what's your favorite?
I would say Louisville (Ky.). That's where we clinched (a berth in Triple-A International League championship series for Durham) last year. There was a lot of stuff at stake that game, too. And it was a nice stadium, good crowd.
Do you have a talent that not many people know about?
I think I'm a pretty good basketball player. No one knows that. I'm a good shooter, anyway. I was a shooting guard in high school (at Hoover High in Des Moines, Iowa, where he was Baseball America preseason All-American in 2005).
What's your favorite activity away from baseball?
PlayStation. I've got Call of Duty, NBA 2K, Madden. Those are basically the three games I've got.
What's the most amazing thing you've ever seen an athlete do?
I'd say Vince Carter jumping over (7-foot-2 center Frederic Weis of France) in the (2000) Summer Olympics. That was really amazing, jumping right over the guy (and dunking).
What's your favorite movie of all time?
"Dumb and Dumber." Definitely. It's just really funny.
