119 - Josh Ortiz, Fivay, Junior: Took sixth place at Class 1A state meet, his third trip to state.

129 - Brent Gwinn, River Ridge, Junior: Finished 12th at the Class 1A state meet with a 380-pound total.

139 - Michael Wafford, Sunlake, Junior: Sunshine Athletic Conference champion.

154 - Alex Cremeans, Sunlake, Sophomore: Finished 11th at state with 520-pound total

169 - Malik Mutcherson, Zephyrhills, Senior: Had 570-pound total at Class 1A state meet

183 - Logan Wolfe, Sunlake, Junior: Conference champion.

199 - Davion Sutton, Fivay, Senior: Took fifth place at Class 1A State meet with 620-pound total.

219 - Jacob Morphew, Pasco, Senior: Finished 11th in the Class 1A state meet with 585-pound total.

238 - Jordan Mutcherson, Wiregrass Ranch, Senior: Had 590-pound total at Class 2A state meet.

HWT - Andrew Ivie, Pasco, Junior: Finished fifth at Class 1A State meet. He had a 390-pound bench press, a 315-pound clean and jerk and a 705-pound total.

About The Team

The Tribune’s All-Pasco County Boys Weightlifting Team was selected by correspondent Larry Bugg. Teams were selected based on performances in the regular and postseason. The all-conference team selected by the county’s head coaches was strongly considered. The Tribune Boys Weightlifting Athlete of the Year will be selected at a later date.
