Alex Hanson, Steinbrenner – The senior, an Eastern Michigan commit, continued his torrid pace by driving in four runs with a pair of doubles in an 11-2 win against King. Hanson is hitting .448 with 23 runs scored and 15 RBIs to go along with 17 stolen bases.

Troy Bacon, Sickles – The junior tossed his second consecutive complete-game shutout. He followed his 2-0 win against Wiregrass Ranch with a 12-strikeout, three-hit gem in a 5-0 win against Freedom last week, and added a home run. Bacon, verbally committed to the University of Florida, is 4-1 with a 1.60 ERA.

Randy Oliva, Gaither – The Florida Atlantic signee capped a 3-for-4 night Friday with a grand slam to lead the Cowboys to a 9-7 win against Wiregrass Ranch. Oliva has four home runs this season, with a .327 average and 18 RBIs.

Matt Vaka, Plant – The designated hitter got his team going with a double and a run in Tuesday’s 8-2 win against Jefferson. Vaka is hitting .333 with 19 runs scored, eight doubles and 16 RBIs.
