Florida State tailback James Wilder Jr. is spending the weekend in a Leon County jail for an alleged probation violation.

Attorney Tim Jansen said Wilder turned himself in Friday afternoon and is being held without bond.

Jansen said, "He'll sit there until we get him into court next week."

Jansen said Wilder tested positive for a miniscule amount of alcohol on a portable breathalyzer during a work day program Thursday. The work day resulted from a plea agreement earlier this year on a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest without violence.

Coach Jimbo Fisher was not immediately available to comment on Wilder's latest brush with authorities.

Wilder, who is the son of James Wilder, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' all-time career rushing leader, played sparingly last year for the Seminoles. He is a Plant High School graduate.
