On the strength of six wrestlers in the finals, Fivay High repeated as SAC champion Saturday.
River Ridge finished a surprising second, missing out on the championship by two points, with Pasco, Gulf and Anclote rounding out the top five.
Nicco Lightfoot and Colin Hahn avenged early-season defeats to help propel Fivay to the title.
Lightfoot, who lost to Gulf's Spencer Baxter in December, upended Baxter 7-5 in overtime Saturday.
Baxter, who normally wrestles at 160 pounds, moved up to 170 for the better competition.
"I knew I had to be more aggressive this time," Lightfoot said. "I relied too much on technique last time, and he's a really good wrestler."
Hahn, wrestling at 182, was pinned by Gulf's Jarred Kruse in the first period earlier in the season. This time, he avoided Kruse's arsenal of throws and dominated, winning by technical fall, 18-1.
"That first match was just a bad day for me," Hahn said. "I was very confident coming in to this match."
Fivay coach Andy Medders said he was pleased with his team's effort leading into district next weekend.
"We're close to where we need to be for district," Medders said. "We're working very hard every day. We had game plans, and they stuck to it."
