Carrollwood Day 54, Keswick Chr. 13

ST. PETERSBURG — Elias Earley and Willie Parker each had a pair of rushing touchdowns to lead Carrollwood Day to a victory against Keswick Christian.

Earley, a junior running back, rushed for 130 yards on just four carries. His 41-yard touchdown run on Carrollwood’s third play from scrimmage set the tone early.

Carrollwood jumped out to a 21-0 lead later in the first quarter when it capitalized on a Keswick fumble before Dylan Rudolph punched it in from six yards out. Parker made it 28-0 on a 21-yard TD run early in the second quarter.

Keswick first got on the scoreboard in the second quarter when quarterback Parker Holland connected with wide receiver Asher Thompson on a 60-yard touchdown pass down the right sideline.

Earley, however, broke free for an 80-yard touchdown run on a reverse to push the lead to 35-6 on the next possession.

Carrollwood quarterback Taylor King threw for 126 yards and a touchdown. Parker finished with 86 rushing yards on nine carries.
