Boys Soccer Players To Watch

Anthony Belini, Jesuit – The senior midfielder can score, but his ability to move the ball around to other scorers is key for the Tigers offense.

Michael Conlon, Jesuit – The senior is a solid defender, but he also has a tremendous ability to come through with goals.

Austin Labban, Steinbrenner – The senior had a hat trick in a win against Chamberlain and brings a lot of experience to a team that boasts 11 seniors.

Christian Knight, Steinbrenner – The Warriors have a potent offense, but their keeper shouldn’t go unrecognized. Knight’s talent minding the net is a big weapon for Steinbrenner.

Kristopher Ospina, Lennard – The senior center midfielder has started the season with six goals in the first three games.

Seth Rinkevich, Plant – The tall junior usually has a key advantage on 50-50 balls and provides an imposing force against opponent’s scorers.

Zach Thompson, Plant – Gives the Panthers a lot of versatility, but as a defender he is a vocal leader.

Jacob VanDerLuit, Newsome – The speedy midfielder and forward scored both goals in the Wolves’ win against Steinbrenner and is a threat with both feet.

Jacob Vila, Jesuit – The Tigers’ midfield weapon, Vila had 11 goals and 11 assists last season.

Blake Wilson, Steinbrenner – The senior already has six goals, including two in each of the team’s three wins.
