— Alonso set out to establish its passing game this season, and the Ravens took the lead for good with a deep pass midway through the fourth quarter to clinch a victory against King.

Ravens quarterback Chris Oladokun found a wide-open Raj Balenger for a 56-yard score to give the team a 16-12 lead it wouldn’t surrender.

Oladokun finished the evening with 262 yards and two touchdowns to help Alonso clinch a victory in Friday’s Kickoff Classic.

For King, the loss of running back Otis Williams late in the fourth quarter capped a rough evening.

Williams, who had 180 yards and a touchdown, left in the early fourth quarter with cramps. Without his presence, the Lions weren’t able to mount a comeback.

King suspended numerous starters for disciplinary reasons before the game and the team bus left for Alonso late, resulting in the team arriving just minutes before kickoff and preventing the team from even going through warmups.
