The Tampa Bay History Center will pay tribute to the Tampa Bay Lightning with an exhibit Saturday honoring the 10th anniversary of the team’s Stanley Cup championship.
As part of its “Show & Tell” series, the museum will display memorabilia d replica trophies won by the team during its 2003-2004 championship season, including the Conn Smythe Trophy (won by Brad Richards), Lady Byng Memorial Trophy (Brad Richards), Hart Memorial Trophy (Marty St. Louis), Art Ross Trophy (Martin St. Louis), Jack Adams Award (John Tortorella), Prince of Wales Trophy and Stanley Cup.
Former Lightning captain Dave Andreychuk, ex-player Jassen Cullimore and Lightning television play-by-play announcer Rick Peckham will be on hand to answer questions from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Fans also will get an inside look at the team’s Game 7 victory at the Forum, 2-1 over the Calgary Flames on June 7, 2004, with Andreychuk providing his insights into the clinching victory.
Tickets are $20 for the general public, $15 for Tampa Bay History Center members and Lightning season-ticket holders, and are available on the History Center website. A separate museum gallery ticket can be purchased for a discount on Saturday.
