Here are five must-see games on this season’s home schedule for the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Florida Panthers, Oct. 10 — The lone Southeast Division rival to remain with Tampa Bay in the newly formed Atlantic Division will open the Lightning’s home schedule as the new old rival.

Pittsburgh Penguins, Oct. 12 — Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and the high-flying Penguins (these birds don’t really fly, do they?) come in for the first of two visits.

Chicago Blackhawks, Oct. 24 — Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane bring the defending Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks to town for the only visit this season.

Philadelphia Flyers, Nov. 27 — Former Lightning captain Vinny Lecavalier returns for what is sure to be an emotional night.

Detroit Red Wings, Dec. 12 —The Lightning’s newest division rival, always a top draw, comes to town for the first time. Get your seats before the Detroit fans snatch them up.
