ESPN football analyst and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Keyshawn Johnson was arrested after a domestic dispute early Monday at his California home, deputies said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said deputies responded to Johnson’s home in Calabasis, Calif., about 12:48 a.m.
Johnson, 41, was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor domestic battery and released about 9:15 a.m. after posting $20,000 bond.
Johnson, a Los Angeles native, played 11 seasons in the NFL, including the Bucs from 2000 to 2003. He won Super Bowl XXXVII with Tampa Bay after the 2002 season.
After football, he joined ESPN in 2007 as an analyst on “Sunday NFL Countdown.” Johnson also co-hosts a radio show in the Los Angeles market.
In September, Johnson was the first celebrity eliminated in season 17 of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”
In May, he complained to deputies about neighbor Justin Bieber speeding through their gated community and attempted to confront Bieber at the pop star’s home.
