Dish-Fox dispute is still going

Unless Dish Network and the Fox family of networks come to an agreement before midnight tonight, Dish Network customers will lose Sun Sports, Fox Sports Florida, Fx and National Geographic. That means Dish customers will not be able to watch the Rays' season-ending series against the Royals.

Any teams shown on Sun Sports and Fox Sports Florida - such as the Rays, Lightning, Magic, Marlins, Heat and Panthers - will be affected until an agreement is reached. The Fox broadcast network and Fox News Channel are not part of the dispute.

Fox wants a certain amount per subscriber, and Dish wants to pay less than that.

Fox took out a full-page ad in today's Tribune (Page 3), which directs Dish customers to a website (GetWhatIPaidFor.com) or a phone number (1-877-994-7243) to learn more about the dispute.
