NEED TO KNOW: USF junior point guard Anthony Collins did not make the trip and will miss his sixth straight game with lingering soreness and tendinitis in his left knee. His status will be evaluated on a game-by-game basis, and USF still hopes to get Collins back this season. … USF has lost four of its past five games. … USF senior Victor Rudd (15.7 points, 7.1 points) is one of two AAC players in the league’s top 10 for scoring and rebounding. ... Temple, coming off a 78-76 loss at UCF, hasn’t won since Dec. 4, 77-69 against Saint Joseph’s.. … In the only meeting, USF defeated Temple 58-44 in the NCAA tournament’s second round on March 16, 2012. ...
