For avid Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans - and even casual followers - Thursday night may be more important than an actual game.
That's the day the Bucs make their first-round pick in the NFL draft (the fifth overall selection and first under new coach Greg Schiano), and hundreds of fans will be gathering at Raymond James Stadium to watch it unfold.
The Buccaneers' Official Draft Party will be Thursday in the East Club Lounge at Raymond James Stadium. The draft starts at 8 p.m., but the doors will open at 6:30 p.m. after the parking lot opens at 6.
Admission is free.
Fans can purchase discounted food and drinks, and cheerleaders and former Bucs players will be signing autographs.
