The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will introduce the next member of their Ring of Honor at a news conference at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Who will it be?
The team isn't saying – yet.
Hall of Fame defensive lineman Lee Roy Selmon, the team's first draft pick, was the inaugural inductee in 2009.
The team's first coach, John McKay, was inducted in 2010.
Last year, tight end Jimmie Giles was honored.
There is no formula for making the selections. The next inductee could be a player from any era in the team's history.
Candidates include quarterback Doug Williams, who led the team to its first playoff appearance in 1979, and modern stars such as running back Mike Alstott, defensive tackle Warren Sapp or linebacker Derrick Brooks.
