Q: Why would the Bucs continue to pursue Darrelle Revis? Isn't he going to be a repeat of Kellen Winslow (major injury and not as effective afterwards, bloated salary) or Keyshawn Johnson? He has been nothing short of a headache for the Jets in the press and wouldn't it make sense to go after a healthy/proven team player instead? After the character misses with some of the free agents, do they really want a repeat of Eric Wright?

A: You might remember that Winslow was the Bucs' leading receiver each of the three years he was here and that the Bucs actually won a Super Bowl with Keyshawn Johnson. Revis is arguably the best corner in the league and he appears to still have plenty of years left in him despite the injury. That's why the Bucs remain interested, but your concerns about character are one reason they won't overpay for him
