TAMPA — Bucs CB Darrelle Revis refuted on Wednesday an unsubstantiated national report suggesting he has problems with the coaching style of Greg Schiano.

“Zero truth,’’ Revis said. “Why wouldn’t I be happy here? They gave me an opportunity coming off my (knee) injury to play football again, so I’m excited to be here.’’

Schiano and Revis each confirmed the two met at the team facility on Tuesday, an off day for players.

“That was brief and very nice of him to come up and see me, not necessary,’’ Schiano said. “But there was a lot of stuff floating around, I guess, and he said, ‘Coach, I just want to set it straight.’ I appreciate him doing that. He wasn’t requested — it was on him.’’

Revis, who played his first six NFL seasons with the Jets, joked about the recent flurry of stories implying unrest in Tampa Bay’s locker room.

“I thought those New York days were over with,’’ Revis said. “I think it comes with us being 0-2, but everything’s fine. We’re just trying to stick together as a team and get ready for this week.’’
