Bucs Hot Reads: Brees paces NFL in 350-yard games

Saints QB Drew Brees has posted 35 games of 350 passing yards or more, ranking first in NFL history. Dan Marino and Tom Brady are tied for second with 27 games apiece.

In the past four seasons, Brees leads all NFL quarterbacks in attempts (2,499), completions (1,701), passing yards (19,661) and touchdown passes (156). “Drew’s an amazing competitor,” Bucs backup QB Dan Orlovsky said. “He’s seen everything and he has an amazing belief in himself and his teammates.’’

Injury report

Bucs CB Michael Adams (knee) and TE Tom Crabtree (ankle) did not practice Wednesday. CB Rashaan Melvin (hamstring) and G Carl Nicks (foot) were limited, while FB Erik Lorig (calf) participated fully.

For the Saints, three players did not practice: S Isa Abdul-Quduus (ankle), NT Brodrick Bunkley (calf) and DE Tyrunn Walker (knee). Everyone else had at least limited participation.
