TAMPA — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday claimed defensive back Bobby Felder off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings.

The 5-11, 200-pound Felder first came into the league as an undrafted college free agent in 2012 and spent the 2012 season on the Vikings practice squad.

Felder is a Nicholls State product who had 12 career interceptions at the collegiate level. He fills the roster spot that opened when wide recevier Mike Williams was placed on injured reserve on Monday.
